Weird thing is, this morning I tested S6 client under Vmware (using 2 out of 4 cores) and it did work. I'm not 100% sure but these results lead me to believe it doesn't support quadcore?
Is there anyone out there that is also using a quadcore machine and that got the game to work?
Also about the Ati drivers suggestion:
Tried updating to latest drivers, no change.
Tried rolling back to a much older driver version, no change.
For now, I'm forced to either play on laptop, or play on desktop pc under Vmware (laggy :P)
**Update**
Tried a couple more things to no avail:
- Tried decreasing my windows resolution from 1600x1200 to 1440x900, nada
- Tried running the game in 16bit colors both in fullscreen and window mode, nada
- Tried using different resolutions of the game, nada
- Updated C++ to latest version
Can't think of anything else to possibly solve the issue. If you have any ideas, no matter how crazy, please post them =)
